First year in: United Sound brings music to El Tour’s ears

We love having new non-profit partners at El Tour de Tucson. We can add another one in United Sound.

United Sound‘s mission is to remove barriers and foster social change through music.

We accomplish our mission through a peer mentoring program that helps music educators to include students with disabilities in instrumental music at high schools, middle schools, universities, colleges, and in community ensembles! We support student musicians and educators to use music as a vehicle for transformative change.

They support as many interested teachers/groups as possible. As with all non-profit organizations, their resources are dependent upon the donor support we receive.
