Where would El Tour de Tucson be without our Aid Stations? We don’t want to…
Ben Bridge & Tissot bringing ‘quality’ gifts for podium finishers in 102-mile race for third consecutive year
When Sinead Miller stepped off the podium at the 2023 El Tour de Tucson and saw that she was being awarded a Tissot watch through Ben Bridge she was more than thankful for the gift.
“This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever received,” Miller said. “I’ve never received a watch before, especially one like one of this quality. I’m super excited. This is something you’d see at a Formula One race. It’s amazing. I’m so appreciative.”
That’s exactly the reaction Regina Aiello loves to hear, given Ben Bridge makes every effort to have an impact at the events it participates in. One is El Tour de Tucson, where they are back for the third time – bringing gifts/prizes for the top three males and females of the 102-mile event.
“The watches really went a long way,” said Aiello, Vice President of Sales, Innovation and Business Partnerships. Ben Bridge is based in Seattle. “We got so many great comments and that’s fantastic And the partnership with Tissot was driven by Denise West, our manager in Tucson. They wanted to give something of quality.”
So, Tissot it is for the third consecutive year. They will be on display at their booth at the annual El Tour Expo & Fiesta at the Tucson Convention Center. There Ben Bridge will have a team of experts to answer any questions about their merchandise, including the prize watches. They’ll also have trinkets/gifts at their booth.
Ben Bridge officials – of which Aiello is one – loves the ride and the weather, given they come in from Seattle.
“It’s so energetic,” she said. “There are so many various levels of riders and people who participate by just watching the riders come in. There are families who celebrate and something you come away with (by witnessing) because it was overwhelming and positively impactful.”
