Where would El Tour de Tucson be without our Aid Stations? We don’t want to…
Raising Cane’s is one of El Tour’s sponsors and will be prominent in the 5K Run/Walk
Got chicken? Well, Raising Cane’s does … and they have signs, funny signs, in fact.
Raising Canes is one of El Tour’s sponsors and will be prominent in the 5K Run/Walk in Downtown Tucson.
This is Raising Cane’s second year as a sponsor but first with the signs.
“Raising Cane’s participated last year and was greatly received by the Tucson Community, which made us even more excited to join again,” said Jeannette Ornelas, Cane’s Area Leader for Marketing.
This year, you’ll see various signs throughout the 5K route with cute and clever phrases to help motivate – maybe make a participant or two laugh – while they meander through the course at 7:15 in the morning.
“Sponsoring the fun signs for the run seemed like a natural fit for us because it aligns with our cool culture we have in our restaurants,” Ornelas said. “We wanted to bring the energy and excitement to the event with these signs to make it a fun experience for participants! It’s all about creating a fun, positive atmosphere that aligns with the values we live by at Raising Cane’s – working hard, having fun and being part of the community in which we serve.”
Community is important to Raising Cane’s. It’s not unusual to see their presence at many local events, whether it be running, cycling or impactful.
“Raising Cane’s is committed to supporting our local community events, while the exact number of events vary, we are actively involved in signature annual Tucson Events like the El Tour de Tucson, La Fiesta de los Vaqueros Tucson Rodeo, and the Pets of Pima Parade to name a few,” she said.
Again, it’s being part of the community and seeing the people in it.
“Being a part of Tucson community events is incredibly important to us at Raising Cane’s,” Ornelas said. “It allows us to connect with our customers in a more personal and meaningful way. It’s not just about serving craveable chicken finger meals-it’s about building relationships, showing appreciation and being present where our customers work, live and play! We love engaging with our community beyond our restaurants!”
