Sequoia Springs getting the word out through El Tour, ‘honored to be part’ of event

Many individuals who seek support at Sequoia Springs Trauma Healing Center are living with recent and the long-term effects of trauma.

Experiences of violence, danger, loss, or instability can lead to persistent symptoms that affect a person’s sense of safety, relationships, and ability to manage daily life. Many arrive feeling overwhelmed by triggers, disconnected from their bodies, and unsure how to find stability.

At Sequoia Springs, clients engage in trauma-informed therapy and body-based workshops that help restore regulation, safety, and connection. With consistent support, individuals find their unique pathway to healing and recovery, learn grounding tools and emotional regulation skills, regain a sense of safety while also gaining a clearer understanding of how trauma impacts the mind and body.

In a safe, supportive environment, clients gradually reprocess painful experiences, explore boundaries and needs, and practice healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. As their internal resources strengthen, many people begin to experience an increase in feeling calm, connected, and empowered.

Over time, participants often report feeling more grounded and more capable of engaging meaningfully in relationships, work, and community life, reflecting our mission to help individuals discover healing, resilience, and belonging.

Sequoia Springs is honored to be part of the 42nd El Tour de Tucson. We appreciate all El Tour does for our community, by helping raise awareness of the great work local nonprofits do for our community!
