Diamond Ventures has been with El Tour for years; together they highlight the best of Tucson
Diamond Ventures and its affiliated projects have supported El Tour de Tucson for decades. Tour de Tucson embodies and highlights the best of Tucson: gorgeous fall weather, beautiful scenery, healthy lifestyles, our tourism economy, multi-generational wellness, regional diversity and our strong culture and commitment to charitable giving.
El Tour de Tucson has raised hundreds of millions of dollars that have benefited hundreds of local charities. And local community leaders really step up and come together as event sponsors. Don Diamond, Helaine D Levy, David Goldstein, Ken Abrahams and Charlie Bowles became early advocates for Diamond Ventures support for El Tour a long time ago. The love for the event and all the good it does continues with our company today.
Diamond Ventures is especially proud of the fact that the El Tour route features the southeast area. The southeast is directly in the path of our region’s future growth. El Tour de Tucson takes riders through the southeast, where many of our region’s major employers are located and new commercial and industrial growth is focused. And where population and new home development is consistently increasing. There has been and will continue to be a surge of investment and growth in the southeast. Each year, thousands of El Tour riders from outside of Arizona arrive and get a “taste of Tucson” as they ride the 32-, 62- and 102- mile routes. In particular, the El Tour de Tucson route that travels east of Houghton Rd through the Rincon Valley is one that is challenging, beautiful, and showcases Diamond Ventures’ master planned Rocking K development. It’s awe inspiring to see El Tour riders against the backdrop of the Rincon Mountains and Saguaro National Park.
This year, Diamond Ventures is proud to sponsor El Tour aid stations that provide essential support for the participants. We’d like to especially thank the individuals that are volunteering at the aid stations on November 22, 2025. Ride safe, be well, and enjoy ‘lo major de Tucson!”
