Dragoon Brewing Company back at El Tour de Zona; ‘fortunate to be part of it each year’

We’re getting ready for the annual El Tour de Zona and that means one thing: Dragoon Brewing Company is getting prepped for the event too.

They’ll be there ready to serve their fantastic products to our cyclists. This is their third year at the ride.

“It’s been really awesome to see this event grow over the past few years and we’re fortunate to have been a part of it each year,” said Tristan White, general manager/co-owner of Dragoon Brewing Company.

The event this year is March 20-23 in Sierra Vista once again servicing as home base. There will be a ride to Bisbee on Friday and a ride to Tombstone on Sunday.

They’ll be there ready to pour Dragoon IPA, Pils, Amber & Florecita to those thirsty – of age – cyclists and fans who visit the venue.

Their mission has long been to make the best beer and “share it with our friends, family and community we live and work in.”

More than 600 cyclists from all over the country enjoy three great days of cycling in and around the Southern Arizona area. The event is a casual weekend of camping, riding, dancing, socializing and, of course, fun.

In year’s past, White said “it was a no brainer” for Dragoon to be involved given the audience.

Zona is one of the many events Dragoon participates in, including those held at their taproom where they have two or three a month.

“We do some outside the main population centers, just less frequently,” White said. “Events on the scale of El Tour de Zona, it’s a lot less – probably closer to seven or eight a year (24 Hours in the Old Pueblo, Tour of the White Mountains, El Tour de Tucson are the big ones).”
