First-timers FSHD joining El Tour to spread their word of assistance

No one should face FSHD alone. The FSHD Society is dedicated to accelerating research toward treatments and a cure while supporting individuals and families every day. The Arizona chapter of the FSHD Society is a local group of people, families, and advocates working together to support those living with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD).

This vital work is made possible through the generosity of the community, patients, families, volunteers, and donors who share the vision of a world without FSHD.

Through research, urgency, and community, they are dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for FSHD while empowering families. Whether you join in person or virtually, the chapter offers a place to connect with others who understand what you’re going through.

They provide support, share local resources, and keep you informed on the latest research and care. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with FSHD for years, they are here to support you, every step of the way.

The Arizona Chapter is made up of people who are passionate about helping those with FSHD. They are currently seeking individuals who are interested in taking on leadership roles, whether that’s by planning events, leading projects, or guiding the chapter’s direction. If you’re interested in helping in other ways, they would love to hear from you too!
