Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project proudly joins El Tour

Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project proudly joins El Tour de Tucson’s non-profit community for the 43rd annual race!

According to its website,  the Florence Project’s mission is to provide free legal and social services to detained adults and unaccompanied children facing immigration removal proceedings in Arizona.

The nonprofit provides specialized legal services and advocacy programs for undocumented children, adults, and families. FIRRP’s services team provides critical support to address their clients’ needs outside their legal cases. Helping them pursue their rights to medical and mental health care, family reunification, and in transitioning out of detention.

You can read more about those services on their website using this link: https://firrp.org/

In addition to providing these services, the Florence Project also advocates for systemic change through border partnerships, appellate and district court cases, and policy advocacy.

This will be the FIRRP’s first time joining El Tour’s non-profit community and we are honored to have the nonprofit with us.
