Great to have the Air Force Cycling Team back riding in El Tour

Promoting and combining camaraderie and support among Air Force community members, the Air Force Cycling Team (AFCT) is back with El Tour.

The community they have created includes active duty, retired, National Guard, Reserve personnel, and their dependents. The core values of AFCT include integrity, service, and excellence. These values guide them to strive to be “The Guardian Angels of the Road.”

One of the key aspects of the organization is the opportunity to participate in various local and major rides throughout the year. This includes the Air Force Heritage Memorial to Memorial Ride (M2M) and RAGBRAI. During events like RAGBRAI, they provide crucial mechanical assistance to riders in need, helping to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. From fixing flat tires to giving the supplies necessary to make it to the next town, AFCT is there.

The M2M also serves to honor Air Force Heritage. Raising funds for the Air & Space Forces Association’s Wounded Airmen and Guardians Program, it directly supports those who have sacrificed for our freedom. They welcome any and all donations. This helps to support the many events, riders, and continues to honor those service members that have done so much for us.
