ICCU: In joining El Tour, ‘we love to give back to the communities where we live’

To say ICCU is excited to be at the 42nd El Tour de Tucson would be an understatement. After all, it’s their first year being involved.

“At ICCU our mission is to help our members achieve financial success,” said Jeff Dunlap, Community Development Manager. “Just like El Tour, we love to give back to the communities where we live, work, and play!  It’s amazing that this event has raised nearly $130 million since inception! We’re excited to be involved!”

For ICCU, it’s all about the community. In fact, at most big events – including University of Arizona football games – they’ve been prominently displayed. El Tour will be no different.

“Thank you for noticing!” he said, of having eyes on their logos and messaging. “We love to be out and about in the community. There are so many events happening all over Tucson and I don’t want to miss a thing! We call our ICCU team the ‘Green Team.’ They are the heart of who we are, and they are passionate about creating a positive impact.”

That message aligns with El Tour’s given the impact it has had with more than 100 nonprofits over the years.

“We know about the passion of giving and community,” Dunlap said. “We’re proud to champion efforts like El Tour, because we know how difficult it is to support so many nonprofits individually. ICCU is committed to supporting the strength and stability of the communities we serve just like El Tour.”

Be sure to go by and say hello to ICCU at the three-day Zenni Expo & Fiesta at the Tucson Convention Center, beginning Nov. 20 through Nov. 22.

“We’re excited to be a part of the 42nd Annual El Tour de Tucson,” Dunlap said. “You can’ t miss us. We’ll be the ones in GREEN!”
