Jr. El Tour coming on as a nonprofit partner with El Tour
We love seeing kids on bikes!
Another opportunity to get your kids riding in Tucson has arrived in the form of Jr. El Tour. They will be partnering with El Tour de Tucson for our 43rd annual race.
The Jr. El Tour Youth Cycling Program was made to create a long-term positive impact on the health and fitness of ‘at-risk’ children by developing and fostering a connection to cycling.

Director Scott Blanchard said the program is free and “seeks to create a long-term positive impact on the health and fitness of at-risk children by developing and fostering a connection to cycling.”
Jr. El Tour seeks to provide these services to children of different backgrounds and to get as many involved as possible.
A bike, jersey, safety gear and professional training are provided at no cost. If the child completes the 12-week program, rides in the El Tour de Tucson event and participates in a few follow-up rides, they get to keep the bike and gear.
El Tour de Tucson is delighted to partner with another youth group and continue to get the children of southern Arizona moving!
