Since 1963, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As Southern Arizona’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through young adulthood. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

They’ve been a big part of El Tour for years – doing great things for the community with their nonprofit.

They have some big things scheduled in the coming months, including El Tour de Tucson.

First up is the ^13th Annual Southern Arizona B1G TEN CONFERENCE MIXER & FUNDRAISER. You can register here. It’s a fun afternoon party on Aug. 24.

When you participate as a fundraising cyclist for Big Brothers Big Sisters, you are defending the potential of children in your community.  As a non-profit partner of El Tour de Tucson, we depend on the funding and awareness raised by participating cyclists in order to continue carefully matching children with caring adult mentors and providing ongoing support to the child, volunteer mentor and child’s family.
