The Quell Foundation back in El Tour, hoping to bring awareness through judgement-free dialogue
The Quell Foundation is a nationally recognized not-for-profit organization committed to reducing the number of suicides, overdoses, and the incarceration of people with mental health challenges.
They promote open, judgment-free dialogue to normalize the conversation around mental health. El Tour de Tucson is excited to have them back, rallying a team of dedicated athletes to help break the stigma surrounding mental illness.
Statistically, 1 in 5 American adults, and 1 in 6 youth, are living with a mental health condition in this country. We all know someone, perhaps even ourselves, who is living daily with a mental health challenge. The Quell Foundation stands out as a key organization dedicated entirely to promoting mental health.
The Quell Foundation’s participation in El Tour de Tucson is part of the Strength in Motion campaign. They recognize the integrative nature of health and wellness. Establishing positive mental health is just as significant as establishing physical, social, and environmental wellness.
Strength in Motion is not just about crossing the finish lines together; it’s about inspiring conversations, reducing the stigma surrounding mental health challenges, and proving that every step they take will echo a message of resilience, solidarity, and advocacy.
