The third year is the charm for Athletic Brewing Co., being part of El Tour

If familiarity breeds success, then say hello – again – to Athletic Brewing Co., where people know the name and the brand. They sure do at El Tour de Tucson, where they will be here for the ride on Nov. 22 and the Expo two days prior.

Athletic Brewing Co. samples at thousands of events annually all throughout the United States, Canada and across the United Kingdom.  The brand has quickly risen to become the talk of the beer scene, with consumers shifting to increased moderation and choosing healthier options.

El Tour is one of their stops.

“Our third year as part of the El Tour family, riders now request Athletic by name,” said
Adam Butman, Athletic Brewing’s West Region Senior Director. “The first two years we
heard a lot of: ‘Doesn’t non-alcoholic beer taste bad?’ or ‘I have never tried an Athletic
before.’  Now cyclists are requesting individual Athletic styles by name!”

Nice.

El Tour appreciates Athletic being at the events given people love seeing the
beverages firsthand. They’ll be back again.

“Tucson continues to be an exciting market for Athletic,” Butman said. “The active lifestyle paired with the affinity for outdoors makes Athletic such a good fit for those that call southern Arizona home.”

Athletic continues to fuel momentum as one of the fastest growing beer brands in Arizona, growing at +30% year-over-year. Additionally, Athletic is ranked as the eighth-largest craft brewery and 18th largest overall brewery in the United States.

And Athletic is the No. 1 non-alcoholic brewery in the United States holding approximately 19% market share.

They’ve clearly made their mark in Tucson for our big event, where nearly 10,000 cyclists finish their rides then find a cold one in their hands afterward.

“It’s hard to beat an ice cold Athletic after a hard and rewarding ride,” Butman said. “You get the enjoyment and refreshment of a full-flavored beer without any of the compromise during recovery.”

This fall, Athletic is poised to open its third brewing facility taking production capacity to over 1 million barrels.

Meanwhile, Athletic donates over $2 million annually through its “Two For The Trails” grant program, that impacts national trail andpark restoration throughout the United States.

Thanks for being part of El Tour – a perfect spot for Athletic.
