Valley Assistance Services new to El Tour: “every tomorrow is a vision of hope”

Dedicated to empowering older adults to achieve their full potential and and helping them become successful, El Tour welcomes Valley Assistance Services to our charity community for the 43rd race!

By combining social services and community health, Valley Assistance Services guides seniors, individuals, and families to live healthy, resilient, and vibrant lives, while remaining safe and independent

In the 1960’s, a need in the area was recognized so the Children’s Christmas Benevolence Program was established. It helped provide Christmas gifts and meals to families in need.00

From there, Green Valley Assistance Services was the social service branch of the Green Valley Community Fund, currently known as The Greater Green Valley Community Foundation.

With programs such as:

Education and Prevention in the Community

Food Assistance

Health Programs

Financial Help

Socialization programs
