Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona will once again partner with El Tour de…
For The Salvation Army, El Tour is much more than crossing finish line
Each year, El Tour de Tucson brings together thousands of cyclists from across the country who ride for fitness, personal achievement, and causes they believe in.
For The Salvation Army, participating with a team of riders is about much more than crossing the finish line. It is an opportunity for people throughout our community to come together, raise awareness, and generate critical support for the life-changing programs that serve our neighbors in need every day.

The Salvation Army is inviting cyclists of all ages and skill levels to join Team Salvation Army for the 2026 El Tour de Tucson on Saturday, November 21. Whether you’re an experienced rider tackling the full course or participating in one of the shorter route options, every mile you ride helps share the message that hope is possible and that our community cares for those facing hardship.
Every mile ridden represents hope for families experiencing homelessness, individuals seeking recovery, children who need a safe place to learn and grow, and seniors struggling to make ends meet. By riding with Team Salvation Army, participants become ambassadors for an organization committed to meeting human needs without discrimination, while encouraging friends, family, coworkers, and supporters to invest in creating lasting change throughout Southern Arizona.
Among this year’s riders is Geoff Gephart, Divisional Director of Community Relations & Development for The Salvation Army Southwest Division. Based in Phoenix, Geoff has dedicated his career to building partnerships that strengthen communities and expand The Salvation Army’s ability to serve those who need it most. His participation reflects not only his commitment to the mission but also his passion for inspiring others to get involved. Geoff hopes to ride alongside community members from across Arizona who want to make a meaningful difference simply by doing something they love.
Whether you’re riding to challenge yourself, honor someone special, support your community, or give back in a unique way, Team Salvation Army welcomes you. Together, we can turn every pedal stroke into hope, every mile into impact, and every finish line into an opportunity to change lives.
Join Team Salvation Army on November 21 and ride for a purpose…because together, every mile can help transform a life.
