The Paint Kings – welcome to El Tour as a new sponsor

You know their jingle. You see their trucks around town. You know their quality work. The Paint Kings are everywhere and are now part of the El Tour de Tucson family as a sponsor for the Nov. 21, 2026 event.

“I’m one of the few natives here in the Old Pueblo, but I’m not a cyclist so the event has always been off my radar,” said Eddie O’Hair, president of The Paint Kings. “I met TJ (Juskiewicz, El Tour’s executive director) a couple years ago when he took over the event, and I just love his energy.  He didn’t ask me to participate this year, I approached him. Now, I’m excited for the opportunity to just support the event.”

El Tour thanks you in helping more than 10,000 cyclists participate in the event.

The Paint Kings began in Tucson in 1987 and is now led by the second generation of the O’Hair family. More than 150 employees support residential, commercial, multifamily, new-construction, and garage floor coating projects through staffed offices in Tucson and Chandler.

They know Tucson.

“Tucson’s my home (and) I’m proud to live here,” O’Hair said. “I’m proud of the company and service we provide. Nobody is going to confuse me with Jim Click, but I believe being visible will do nothing but enhance our company in the years to come.”

It all helps with their way of giving back to the community. So, they help with that, too.

“Read From Success to Significance,” he said, of the book. “It’s great to make a good living … provide for your family. But, I think we all want to make an impact in our community and world.

“Paint Kings supports many charities and ministries in Tucson, and I’m personally very involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes and am an active member of The Tucson Conquistadors.”
