BannerAir joins El Tour to help raise awareness of their transport program
BannerAir is partnering with El Tour de Tucson for their first year in riding to raise awareness about the importance of high-quality critical care and air transport throughout Arizona.
As a hospital-based air medical transport program in Arizona, they provide 24/7 critical and lifesaving air medical services throughout the state. BannerAir was launched on July 1, 2021 to bring seamless air ambulance transportation to the communities of Arizona.
They have five bases located in Arizona and consistently go above and beyond for the communities we serve; from transporting patients to assisting in events.
They pride themselves in holding the highest safety standards, following a “three to go, one to say no” culture. BannerAir and Med Trans have partnered to bring Arizona high quality and safe air ambulance care. Where BannerAir provides the clinicians, Med Trans provides the pilots and mechanics.
BannerAir is a true flying intensive care unit. Their crews are able to provide life-saving treatments in the air to critically-ill patients. They fly patients of varying ages and diagnoses, anything from trauma to implanted balloon pumps to COVID positive and intubated patients.
Through its strong clinical partnerships within Banner Health and Banner’s state of the art, high-fidelity simulation center, they are proud of their clinical education and quality management programs. They continue to improve business and patient outcomes through careful analysis of every case and providing quality education to our crews.
BannerAir teams are comprised of highly trained registered nurses and certified emergency paramedics; each with many years of high acuity experience and specialty training in multiple unique patient populations.
