NAMI Southern Arizona back again in El Tour
NAMI Southern Arizona has been serving the Tucson community since 1983, providing no-cost mental health advocacy, education and support to all affected by mental illness.
This year they will be joining forces with El Tour to help promote their ongoing goals of overcoming the ignorance, misinformation, misconceptions and apathy that prevent true understanding and meaningful help from reaching persons with serious mental illness.

Short for National Alliance on Mental Illness Southern AZ, NAMI has hundreds of affiliates in all 50 states and a vision for all of Southern Arizona to become a stigma-free community in which abundant resources and support exist to ensure that everyone is healthy in body and mind.
NAMI Walks is a premier fundraiser–attempting to raise $250,000 or more each year, one of the many ways to get involved in support of NAMI Southern Arizona, or you can join and support by riding this year for NAMI in El Tour!

Mental illness is like any other illness, with proper care, it can be treated and managed, and recovery is possible.
