TMC Health a key to Benson Hospital El Tour de Zona’s success; back again for the second year

When an event and a partnership join to have a great event it’s a win-win. El Tour de Tucson TMC Health – through Benson Hospital – have done just that with El Tour de Zona.

Perimeter Bicycling appreciates TMC Health.

All the principles are back for the second El Tour de Zona in Sierra Vista, where more than 750 cyclists will spend three days cycling, camping, dancing and having fun in Southern Arizona.
This year the even is called Benson Hospital El Tour de Zona and will be March 23 through March 26.

“Tour de Zona was a huge success in year one, so we didn’t hesitate to sign up again,” said Julia Strange, vice president of Community Benefit, TMC HealthCare and CEO of Benson Hospital. “We are looking forward to this year’s event and will build upon the inaugural event. Tour de Zona builds community and contributes to the overall economy of Cochise County.”

And who knows better about Southern Arizona than TMC Health? It serves the community with a dedication and commitment that’s unparalleled.

TMC Health is a regional nonprofit health system that includes Tucson Medical Center, TMCOne, Benson Hospital, Northern Cochise Community Hospital and, opening in 2024, TMC Rincon Hospital in Southeast Tucson.

“We believe in promoting healthy activities throughout our region, and the Tour de Zona brings cyclists through some of the most beautiful partners of our region,” Strange said. “TMC Health is a regional nonprofit health system.”

TMC practices what it preaches. It will have six cyclists in the event “we hope to grow our team in future years as word of this event spreads,” Strange said.

We’ll see you there!
