Courtney’s Courage joins El Tour for 6th time to help raise money for young cancer patients

More than two decades after 4-year-old Courtney lost her battle with pediatric cancer, her legacy is continuing through the streets of Tucson. Courtney’s Courage is joining El Tour de Tucson for its 6th annual El Tour for Tots as a nonprofit partner for the 2026 ride. Once again giving cyclists an opportunity to raise money for families facing childhood cancer in Courtney’s memory.

Dedicated to raising funds for childhood cancer research, specifically neuroblastoma, and to assist with support services for pediatric cancer patients being treated at Banner Children’s – Diamond Children’s Medical Center and their families.

Courtney’s Courage has multiple family support programs available such as:

  • Courtney’s Pak: Provides newly diagnosed and relapsed pediatric cancer patients with care package bags to help them get through the treatments.
  • Courtney’s Sibling Pak: Siblings of pediatric cancer patients often feel left out, so Courtney’s courage helps by providing siblings a Courtney’s care pak as well.
  • Mom’s Dinner: An opportunity for mothers of children with pediatric cancer to share their victories, challenges, and offer support to one another.

They also offer financial assistance, support for families, and many other programs that can help support families and children fighting neuroblastoma and pediatric cancer.

In 2025, El Tour de Tots raised $16,888 and their goal for 2026 is to beat last year’s amount raised, help us by riding for Courtney’s Courage and joining the fight against childhood cancer!
